Online tutoring without the platform tax
A fair platform designed to help you teach online without high commissions.
Teaching that stays in your control
Drillby is designed around how tutoring actually works day to day. You manage students, classes, and communication in one place — without being nudged, ranked, or pressured to behave a certain way.
Everything to support your tutoring
Drillby gives tutors a calm, polished workspace to run their teaching day to day, present themselves professionally, and stay close to their students' progress, helping maintain classes even during student holidays.
A focused space where tutoring actually happens.
The teaching workspace brings video, notes, and student context into one place, so tutors can focus on teaching without juggling tools.
Previous sessions, progress, and next steps stay visible, keeping lessons continuous. Notes and summaries are saved automatically, reducing prep without interfering with how tutors teach.
A professional space to present and grow your online presence.
Tutors can showcase their experience, teaching approach, availability, and external links in one place, making it easy to share their profile and be discovered online.
The profile is designed to help tutors promote themselves clearly and professionally, without relying on algorithms or competing for visibility inside a marketplace.
Clear visibility into each student's progress over time.
Student insights give tutors a simple view of attendance, past sessions, and learning patterns, helping them understand what's working and where students may need more support.
Reports and summaries are designed to inform teaching decisions and conversations with students, without turning lessons into metrics or performance pressure.

Hi, I'm David
Drillby started when I was looking for a Korean tutor myself. While researching platforms, I realized that many of them rely on high commissions taken directly from tutors.
That didn’t sit right with me. After more than 15 years working as a software engineer, I decided to build a platform that treats tutors fairly while creating a better learning experience for students.
If this resonates with you, I’d love for you to be part of shaping it.
