Drillby is designed around how tutoring actually works day to day. You manage students, classes, and communication in one place — without being nudged, ranked, or pressured to behave a certain way.
Everything to support your tutoring
Drillby gives tutors a calm, polished workspace to run their teaching day to day, present themselves professionally, and stay close to their students' progress, helping maintain classes even during student holidays.
A focused space where tutoring actually happens.
The teaching workspace brings video, notes, and student context into one place, so tutors can focus on teaching without juggling tools.
Previous sessions, progress, and next steps stay visible, keeping lessons continuous. Notes and summaries are saved automatically, reducing prep without interfering with how tutors teach.
A professional space to present and grow your online presence.
Tutors can showcase their experience, teaching approach, availability, and external links in one place, making it easy to share their profile and be discovered online.
The profile is designed to help tutors promote themselves clearly and professionally, without relying on algorithms or competing for visibility inside a marketplace.
Clear visibility into each student's progress over time.
Student insights give tutors a simple view of attendance, past sessions, and learning patterns, helping them understand what's working and where students may need more support.
Reports and summaries are designed to inform teaching decisions and conversations with students, without turning lessons into metrics or performance pressure.

Real-Time AI Tutoring: How Drillby Keeps Students Engaged Online

Online Tutoring Platforms Are Failing Their Tutors
Hi, I'm David
Drillby started when I was looking for a Korean tutor myself. While researching platforms, I realized that many of them rely on high commissions taken directly from tutors.
That didn’t sit right with me. After more than 15 years working as a software engineer, I decided to build a platform that treats tutors fairly while creating a better learning experience for students.
If this resonates with you, I’d love for you to be part of shaping it.
Frequently asked questions
There is no specific certification or formal teaching experience required.
We welcome part-time and full-time tutors who enjoy sharing knowledge and are committed to providing a personalized learning experience to international students.
Drillby supports over 170 subjects, including languages, school and university topics, professional skills, hobbies, arts, and more.
Drillby is currently in Early Access.
To join as a tutor, you’ll need to apply for Early Access and share some basic information about yourself and your teaching experience. Once approved, you’ll gain access to the platform as a Founding Tutor.
During Early Access, your profile will be available once the platform access is officially opened to founding tutors.
You may also request a verification badge once we confirm your identity and certifications. This badge can help increase trust when sharing your public profile on social networks.
Drillby is designed for tutors who want more predictability, more control over their pricing, and tools built to support long-term student relationships, without high commissions or platform pressure.
You'll need a laptop or desktop computer, a stable internet connection, a webcam, and a microphone to conduct classes in the Drillby virtual classroom.
Early Access is $29, one time. That offer stays open into next year.
Once the subscription model is released, Early Access tutors will get a generous discounted price.
After Early Access, a paid plan will add more storage and group classes. The price will be announced later.
The subscription covers Drillby’s infrastructure. You set your own class prices, and you can get paid by your students however you want.
Tutors set their prices, and when a payment goes through Drillby, payouts go to 160 countries.
Early Access is a limited chance to join Drillby before the public launch.
As a Founding Tutor, you’ll be able to create your profile, set up your teaching materials, and start teaching while helping shape the platform’s development. You also get access to features released during this phase.
Join for $29. Before Early Access starts, that payment is fully refundable. Once you have access, refunds may be available within 14 days if you have not used the service extensively.
